Victoria Falls Historic Area - Alpine National Park

This free camping area is large and grassy.  It is located on the banks of the Victoria River so is great for swimming and fishing.  In winter, its gets really cold so definately bring your thermals.  It has some great information boards on the history of the area. The are over 80 undesignated sites here so take your pick of either shady or full sun sites.  This is suitable for conventional cars and caravans. However,  it is a dry weather access only road, so please avoid using it in wet weather.
