Camping is beside the hotel in the parking lot.  A gold coin donation is requested to pay at the bar.  They also have accommodation rules here.  Why not take a night off and enjoy a yummy meal and a cold beverage while you're here.

Very convenient for the ferry to Maria Island. Gold coin given in the hotel, and parked around the back. I thought the ground was pretty level, a couple of motorhome were on small ramps. The fish van is still very good. New public toilets being built near by. A good Stop!

We support all that the previous poster has said plus a couple of adjectives. At the old Heritage Listed Barracks next door there is an archeological dig going on which is very interesting.

I was going to stay here tonight but when I went in to the hotel I found the attitude not so friendly and after checking out the unlevel ground decided not to.

Stayed here in 2010 and it was a geat spot level and convenient to the town, great meals at the pub and the Fish Van has some of the best fish and chips I've had for a long time. Highly recommended.
