Sharp Park River Bend Country Bush Camping

Private Campground - Queensland

James Sharp Memorial Park is a family bush camping ground located only five kilometres from the township of Canungra. It has five hectares of camping and recreational grounds set amongst the hills on the Upper Coomera River, which is ideal for swimming or throwing in a fishing line.

There are lots of large, level, camping sites to choose from, with or without shade. It really is a favourite spot to camp for many people.

Here you will find septic toilets, campfire facilities and fire wood also available. Pets are welcome though must be contained at all times.
Great place to stay but bring your own water. The powered sits are in the middle of the park and the toilets are very clean. No showers

We have stayed here a few times. Quiet during the week and can get busy on the weekends. Clean toilets. No showers. No fresh water. Pets allowed. Fires in pits provided. Great spot with camping areas on both sides of the river.

Stayed here recently. Nice grounds on both sides of the Coomera River. Toilets are flush type which appear to be cleaned daily. Did not see anything about solar showers. Cost at both grounds is $8.00 per night adult and $4.00 for children (5 to 15). Generators are permitted from 9.00 to 11.00am and again at 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Pets allowed but must be on a lead at ALL times. No drinking water available so need to come prepared. Ice is available. Fires are allowed in fire containers provided. No collection or cutting timber on the grounds (BYO).
