Koorararawaylee Rest Area Boorabbin

Rest Area Overnight - Western Australia

This free overnight rest area has great facilities for the traveller.  It is very large and you have plenty of choice of where to camp for the night.  It does have shade available.  Here you will find toilets, picnic tables, wood fireplaces and dump point.

This is a Main Roads developed 24 hrs stop over and there is plenty of room. You can drive a fair distance from the highway to avoid noise and generally light a fire during the times when they are permitted in the outback. The two toilets are drop types and often have the hum of nature when you get near them but they are serviceable. The bush is very nice for exploring when the wildflowers are out. You get 3G digital signal but no TV reception.

Good bush campsite on the way to Perth, handy for stop after coming from Nullarbor or Kalgoorlie. Some nice walking tracks. I have given 4 stars as it has what you would expect out here. Large area can be away from Gt Eastern Highway. Shade, bluestone or gravel base, toilets, dump spot, tables, fire pits for use between April and October.

This area is surprisingly huge, we have a slight hill besides is which is providing noise abatement from the road. Lots of bins abd good facilities. Highly recommend this site.
