This free camping area has a maximum stay of 72 hours. It is quite scenic with activities such as fishing, swimming, boating, sailing and water-skiing to be enjoyed. The sites have some slope to them and are grassy with shade available. Here you will find toilets with disabled access, picnic tables, fireplaces, BBQ's.

An excellent free camp just a few kilometres from Griffith. A large area with plenty of space but much of it is sloping. It would be difficult to find a level spot if more than a few vans were staying. The area is grassy & clean. The amenities are quite new & are cleaned daily. There are shower cubicles but no taps. A rod has been fitted to allow for your own portable shower. The site is adjacent to a recreation area with various animals in enclosures (deer wallabies emu birds etc.) Makes for an interesting stroll around the grounds. Very quiet with virtually no road noise at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Top place. Max 3 nights stay. The grounds run for around 32 acres. Even though the parking area is quite small. Aviaries loaded with every type of chook you can imagine. Wonderful for walking around. Lake was full and stunning to view each day. Will come back.

Excellent freedom camp only 8 km from Griffith, plenty of room for big rigs, great base to explore the Griffith area.
