Location: North Keppel Island is 18km north-east of Rosslyn Bay Harbour, Yeppoon.
Access: the camping area can be reached by boat only.
Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites. A maximum of 75 people can camp here at any one time. Group sizes are unlimited.
Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping only.
Camp site surface: sand/dirt.
Facilities: composting toilets, picnic tables, taps and limited shower facilities (occasionally water is not available); visitors must bring their own drinking water.
Open fires: prohibited, but gas and fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: not permitted.
Essentials to bring: all food and drinking water, sturdy rubbish bags, insect repellent, sun protection, first aid kit, reliable torch.
