This park is well situated about 3km from the centre of Townsville. Sites are a bit adhoc, some good some bad. Camp Kitchen is only average and a bit aged and facilities are OK but nothing more. Beautiful walk to town around the coast path.

The Tripigy team has stayed here a number of times. Based on location, facilities and being away from the major highway, this is certainly the pick of the locations in Townsville. Nearby the beachfront (just across the road) you can walk along the front of the beach. Close to shops, the airport and everything in Townsville this is a great place. Great amenities and a new modern pool makes it a great place to cool off. The park itself is clean and tidy and upon multiple visits we've found the management and staff to be very friendly and helpful.
