Hazelmere Farmstay

Located on 900 acres of cattle country in the Endeavour Valley, "Hazelmere" is a true escape into tropical country life.

We have been farming here in Far North Queensland since 1960 & you get to stay in the homestead itself- amidst 900 acres of lush green country side with huge mountains in the distance.

It is a working beef property so you can join us on a Farm Tours & see up close - the pastures & our award winning cattle herds. We are in the lush Endeavour Valley & only 25 minutes drive from Cooktown along a good road.

Even if you only stay a night or two, everyone tells us that it feels like a week. It is easy to de-stress - relaxing in such a pristine & peaceful environment.

There's a lake for fishing as well as bush walks to go on - down to the beautiful Endeavour River.

Children love it too as there are horses to pat & calves to befriend. Wallabies hop across the paddocks & we are well known for butterflies & bird watching.

The tariff is very fair & includes the best Breakfast each morning, with cereal & home-made bread for toast & jam, plus Tropical fruits picked fresh off the trees-Mangoes, Paw paws. Passion fruit, Sugar Bananas etc...& even delicacies like Granidillas.
