Litchfield Tourist Park

Caravan Park - Northern Territory

Looking for a true top end experience?  Welcome to Litchfield Tourist Park – a great base for your Litchfield National Park adventure.  This is cattle country where the Upper Finnis River flows through our backyard, cattle and horses roam freely over our back fence, and where native birds and wildlife make their home.  Stop for a quick snack or stay for a few days and soak in the landscaped gardens, natural bushland and tranquil surrounds.

We are the closest Park to the entrance of Litchfield National Park making us the ideal base for exploring the Magnetic Termite Mounds, Buley Rockhole, Florence Falls, The Lost City and countless other attractions.

We are also the last stop for comforts such as 24 hour town electricity, airconditioned cabins, meals, snacks, icecreams and drinks before entering Litchfield National Park.

Families, couples, campers, caravanners, backpackers and flashpackers - we have a range of accommodation options to suit your style and budget. Enjoy the landscaped surrounds and relaxed atmosphere of Litchfield Tourist Park.  We have the homestead, ringer's cabins, stockman's cabins, drover's cabins, bunkhouses & camping sites.

Unroll your swag, pitch your tent, set up your camper or van, even roll in with your fifth wheeler, we have over 70 powered sites and unlimited unpowered sites from which to choose.

We let you choose your own site to suit your needs. Some like to be close to the bathroom, some want shade, others need to make sure they can charge their solar panel and so on. You may wish to check in earlier in the day when there are more sites from which to choose.

If you are after an unpowered camp site, there are seriously so many sites that there is no need to book, just turn up on the day and we’ll be sure to help you.

Powered sites are also readily available, however, we recognise that travellers in our peak season of June, July and August often prefer the security of a confirmed booking.

The BIG Shed - houses our Bar & Cafe

The Workshop - under the same roof as the cafe, it has a pool table and big screen TV.

This is a friendly park that is a nice base to explore Litchfield National Park. It has large grassed powered sites, some with shade, some without. The pool is cooling after a long day exploring. The food is great and it's a nice to enjoy a night off from cooking. Definately recommend staying here.

Spent 3 nights 15/17th August 2016. Made welcome given great info for the National Park attractions. Generous grassed sites (you chose no allocations) Clean amenities great pool. Negatives Low water pressure best to fill your tank then use on board pump (water quality quite good). Poor mobile reception Telstra only and only in one or two spots. No TV reception VAST only No internet available during our stay and reports of it being intermittent.
