Rocky Point Retreat is a family owned camp ground operated by Kati & Darren Rasmussen. The waterfront camping area is a part of the 250 acre rural property "Rocky Point" which is located on the southern bank of Baffle Creek at Winfield 63km north of Bundaberg.

Our premium waterfront camp sites are perfectly suited to self-contained caravans, RVs, camping trailers and tents or swag's. We have private ensuite amenities and portaloo's for hire for those guest's that do not have their own or prefer a bit of luxury camping.

The 16 acre camping area is level, grassed and has 370 meters of Baffle Creek frontage which comfortably accommodates 22 waterfront sites and there are 4 powered sites located 50 meters back from the waterfront. We have a 40 meter non-camping buffer zone along the front boundry which allows all campers to enjoy the waterfront.

Each waterfront camp site has an average 17 meter frontage, are over 400 m2 in area and have access to clean bore water taps. Caravan/motor home clubs and large groups can easily be accommodated and sited together in any format.

Our rates are charged per person not per site or the size of your rig which makes it economical for those traveling alone or those who have large vans/motor homes that generally require 2 sites at other caravan parks. Check-in is from 8.00am and check-out is 4.00pm. We have 5 & 20 kg bags of ice and bait prawns available at the office.

A super spot, space, space and more space. Plenty of phone reception, no TV reception though who cares about that. The owners are friendly, supplied our small band of six units with a massive fire pit, and pointed us in the direction of an ample supply of free fire wood, you just need to throw it onto a ute yourself. A wonderful two nights spent watching our own 'bush tv'. Can connect to water, plus the owners have been thoughtful enough to put in a dump point, rubbish bins and recycle bins. Watch out for the sand flies after 4pm.

What an absolute gem of a camp site. There are literally acres of room with some very spacious sites marked out but you can camp almost anywhere. The site level on the banks of Baffle Creek but no camping is allowed right on the creek, reserving that area for everybody’s access. There are some powered sites available at an extra $8 per night but it is mostly set up for self contained sites. There is water available and a few ensuite sites for those without their own facilities. There is a dump point on site which appears to be septic. There is a public boat ramp adjoining the property for the keen fisherman. A site we would definitely recommend.

Owners very friendly and helpful. Large area almost flat with large campsites shade available many with bore water tap. Dump point and garbage & recycle bins. Very Limited power. Drinking water available. Suits any sized self contained vehicles as there are no communal shower or toilets but you can hire an ensuite shower toilet delivered to your campsite. Right on the banks of the Baffle Creek boat ramp next to property good fishing. Great relaxing place very peaceful. Must come in with all provisions as no shops close by.
