Turn off the Sturt Highway at GPS -34.289669, 142.295837 and follow the unsealed track to the camping area.

This free bush camping area is located on the banks of the Murray River.  It is scenic and quiet with plenty of places to choose from.  There is plenty of shade available however no facilities.  It's a nice spot to go swimming, fishing or walking.

This location is also known as Gol Gol State Forest Camping Area. This is a free camping area just past the picnic area.

Nice spot. Can’t stop by river if rain is expected, but plenty of room/places to stop away from the river. Nice and clean. Some noise from road traffic.
