Reflections Holiday Parks - Lake Glenbawn

Caravan Park - New South Wales

Located 3.5 hours from Sydney or 2 hours north-west of Newcastle, you will find this slice of heaven.

You can enjoy camping here and day visitors are very welcome (Day use fee applicable). It has something for everyone here.

It is known as one of the best freshwater fishing spots in NSW. Try catching a "Mega Bass", golden perch, trout and catfish.

You will love the bush walking and looking at over 100 species of birds. Water sports are popular here including canoeing, boating, sailing, wind surfing, water-skiing and swimming. If you feel like being more active, tennis courts are available. If you just want to relax, enjoy the picnic areas and electric BBQ's while watching the little ones enjoy the playgrounds.

There are a number of boat ramps here. A well-stocked kiosk offers food, drinks, fishing & boating equipment, general grocery items and unleaded fuel. A swimming pool is located at the caravan park.

Accommodation here ranges from powered sites, bush camping unpowered sites, bungalows and cabins.

Campfires are permitted unless there is a fire ban. Powered sites are located in the caravan park which is 5kms from the lake. However you get easy access to the amenities and pool.

Unpowered sites are located on the Eastern Foreshore of the lake. There are 3 separate amenities blocks located close by.  Bungalows have a queen bed, single bed & bunk bed, bathroom, lounge and TV. They are self-contained with air-conditioning. Linen is available for hire.  Villas have a double bed, bunk bed, bathroom, lounge and TV. They are self contained with air-conditioning. Linen is available for hire.

There are two styles of cabins.

One style consists of double bed and 2 sets of bunk beds.

The second style consists of a queen bed and 2 sets of bunk beds. Cabins 1 - 4 have a washing machine.

All have a bathroom, lounge and TV. Linen is available for hire.

We stayed here for 3 nights on the eastern foreshore at the fishing club section. We arrived at dusk Shane the manager took us to a beautiful spot and we set up camp in the dark next morning when we woke up we had 180 degree view of the lake. The campsite is very clean and tidy with heaps of bins. Big Rigs should have a look before driving into the site.
