This large free overnight rest area is set off the highway and has a gravel base. It has plenty of trees for shade. The only facility here is a picnic table.

Good little spot with some shade and space to turnaround.

Very poor and dangerous access, having to slow to a stop on the busy highway. Then narrow dirt/gravel road. Pulled in for the night and left as we felt unsafe.

Previous comments still relevant. A convenient off road stop off, but definitely not for larger vehicles or caravans.
