Port Pirie Beach Caravan Park is a privately owned & operated park.  We are located in the town, adjacent to Solomontown beach and close to boat ramp & shopping.


We offer a variety of accommodation including campsites, caravan sites and cabins.  Pets are welcome on sites.  However if  booking cabin accommodation please leave your pet at home.

This caravan park is situated some 20 minutes walk from the main shopping precinct and the excellent library. It looks out onto the river estuary which has little tidal variation, the river water held back by the weir, under the bridge to no where. The skyline is dominated by the tall chimney of the Port Pirie lead smelter, which is undergoing a $500 Million rebuild to broaden the range of metals being smelted and extend the life of the plant by up to fifty years. The port continues to operate. The park has a number of budget and en suite cabins as well as powered and unpowered sites. The facilities are clean and well maintained and the new managers are very helpful and ready to offer advice and assistance to travellers. Ask for a site over-looking the estuary for the views across the water and the Flinders Ranges beyond. Some directories still show the address as Beach Road. The address is actually 1 Three Chain Road since the site was extended some 10 years ago across the old Beach
