The campground is set in a forested area adjacent to a seasonal flowing creek. It has non-flush toilets, shared fireplaces and picnic tables. Fires may be lit only in the fireplaces provided. No drinking water is provided and a limited water supply is available for dish washing and sanitary requirements.
The campground has five numbered sites suitable for two small tents, with adjacent vehicle parking. It is not suitable for camper trailers or caravans. A maximum of 4 people per site is permitted. Sites are unpowered.
Fees no longer apply to this campground. For all stays up until 30 June 2015 you will still need to book a campsite, but no fees will be charged. After 1 July 2015, no bookings will be taken for campgrounds where fees do not apply. Camping will be first in, first-served.
Kalymna Campground is located on the eastern side of the Mount William Range and is best accessed via the township of Moyston along Mount William Picnic Ground Road which is unsealed but suitable for two wheel drive vehicles.
