Located just 3.5km from Oberon, this free camping area located on the banks of Lake Oberon is strictly for self-contained vehicles only. It has a maximum 72 hour stay limit. It offers unpowered camping alongside the lake with your choice of shady trees or full sun amongst the 20 sites on offer. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times. You can also utilise the boat ramp on site and go out fishing.
Here you will find rubbish bins, BBQ, toilets, water and covered seating available on-site

Quiet site with views of the dam and countryside. Plenty of room. Trees for shade. New fire pits recently installed. TV and phone reception good.
Oberon is a fine country town with a large timber processing factory that would keep the town's people in jobs. Good IGA and Mitre 10 shops.

great spot, views of the lake. Sites spread out, Bbq& toilets near boat ramp. phone reception but no TV.
