Mellenbye Station is a working cattle station. If you enjoy watching the stars at night, sitting by the campfire and getting away from the stresses of modern life, then this is the place for you. The station is a great base for exploring the districts of Morawa and Yalgoo as well as experiencing the ambiance of the station.
During wildflower season Mellenbye Station offers visitors the chance to see the famous wreath flower - Lechenaultia macranta. Many other flowers, including everlastings and orchids, can be seen on walks or drives around the property.
Open from July to early October each year. Sorry, pets are not allowed here.
Accommodation includes historic shearers quarters and donga style accommodation. Visit Mellenbye in your caravan, camper or motorhome and camp out under the bright night sky.
Mellenbye Station offers visitors the opportunity to camp on our flat camping sites with campfire pits available for use. The historic shearing shed is open for inspection and enables guests to enjoy movie and karaoke nights as well as indoor games.
The sites are un-powered, but power can be used in the campers kitchen.
Groups and caravan clubs are most welcome.
