Parilla is a small town located in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia, approximately 26 kilometres west of Pinnaroo.

RV travellers in self-contained vehicles will find short term parking of up to 96 hours on the town’s Main Street. The parking bay is available for visitors free of charge with public toilets and shower facilities close by. Facilities including covered seating and rubbish bins are also provided within the area, with pets on leads permitted.

The parking bay is located directly across from the Parilla Hotel, which is favourable for many. Not too far from Lameroo, this destination makes for a great base to explore the surrounding areas.

Lovely quiet little town and the site is well cared for. Toilets and showers were clean and tidy and the locals have definitely spent effort in making it attractive. There is a free electric BBQ and well kept gardens. Unfortunately the township has suffered economically, whether from Covid19 or other I am not sure, but the Café/Coffee Shop has closed and the Hotel is only open 3 nights a week with meals on only 2. I would recommend using the shower after dark, the natural light is poor during the day but well lit at night. There is a donation box near the showers - drop something in there on the way out

Had the place to ourselves on a quiet Sunday night when the pub was closed, and it seemed the rest of the town, too. Excellent facilities including hot showers- could do with a little TLC. Would recommend.

Lots of shade as well as open areas for stopping over. pub has good meals. quiet location. recommended.
