Scenic Rim Adventure Park is a 680 acre property located in the picturesque Scenic Rim region just over an hour’s drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The Park offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the natural landscape with over 28 kilometres of tracks and walking trails to explore.  The property is 3.5 to 4km front to back of hilly terrain.

Tracks are suitable for all types of 4WD vehicles, mountain bikes or bush walking.

Our park has fourteen individual camping areas located throughout the entire property some appropriate for large groups and others more secluded and intimate. We have compost or chemical toilets throughout the park.

All 4WD vehicles entering the property do pay the vehicle fee as you drive to get to the showers, lookouts, Maze and campsites. We have one area accessible to 2 WD vehicles with a level walk to the showers

Outdoor recreational activities are varied on site with our main focus on four wheel driving. Tracks range from stock standard through to extreme modified 4WD vehicles to test the driver’s ability and their vehicles capabilities. Our aim is to keep things as back to basic as possible and scattered around the park you will find:

  • children play areas
  • mountain bikes use all tracks
  • remote control track
  • spider walls
  • a maze
  • bush walking trails
  • star gazing
  • a variety of wildlife

We are open seven days a week with office registration between 7am to 6pm daily.

We do request you pre-arrange your visit as we ask for bank transfer payment in advance.

Scenic Rim Adventure Park offers you the opportunity to get back to nature and enjoy the outdoors.  Campsite are private and access is suited for 4WD vehicles with very limited access to the lower campsites for All WD vehicles. We now have a small campsite suitable for shared 2WD vehicles. If camping with friends with 4WD those 2WD vehicles park up at the office and their friends ferry them up to the groups site.

Camping is back to basics and we ask you to be self-sufficient and take you own rubbish home with you as we do not receive a garbage service.

We have a NO GLASS BEER BOTTLE POLICY and  cans can be deposited in the cage at the entry office area. Each campsite area has a set campfire pit and we ask guests to please use this area and do not set fires on other parts of the grass campsite area

The Park offers hot showers, composting toilets and dry chemical toilets within walking distance of each campsite.  There are locations for all, large expansive sites for groups and small secluded hideaways for others so you are almost guaranteed your to have your own private site.

Pets are welcome as long as they are on leads and you clean up after them. While at your campsite Dogs MUST BE ATTACHED to runners. Recently we have had some guests not consider other people in the park regarding their dogs obediance.

We have two queen size bedrooms for hire in the main house for those that don't like camping out under the stars. These have external access to a shared bathroom. The huts and rustic log cottage on the property may be available for hire by the end of the year.

Some campsites offer views, while others are within a bush settings for guests to enjoy. Campsites are numbered 1 to 14 and you can pre-book a specific site. Campsite sponsorship is available. Please speak to owners if you are interested in sponsoring a particular campsite.

Please note that you can only get to Opposite Lock Campsite in a two wheel drive vehicle.  You would not be able to explore any further in the park without a 4WD.
