CMCA RV Park Penola provides low-cost, no-frills accommodation for travellers whose vehicles meet the requirements of the CMCA Self Contained Vehicle (SCV) Policy.

Vehicles must have on-board fresh water tanks and the ability to contain black and grey water. The onsite dump point is suitable for GREY WATER disposal only.  A black water dump point is available within the sports ground and can be accessed from Cameron St ( Lat: -37.374436 Long: 140.839437). It is recommended to use the public dump point prior to arriving at the RV park. 

CMCA RV Parks are a managed accommodation facility with fully trained volunteer custodians who live on site to oversee the day-to-day activities and to implement park rules. 

RV Park Penola is subject to CMCA Smoke Free Policy. See CMCA website for more details. 

14 night maximum stay in any 21 day period.

Nice quiet spot next to a vineyard. Level site, water, bins, BBQ, shelter and a very friendly and efficient caretaker (John). Short walk into the lovely little town.

Great level sites. Walk to town and only $3 per person per night. Happy Hour 5pm. Meet interesting people from all walks of life. Lida, the caretaker was great. Grey water dump on site. Black water dump not far away.

Great spot custodians were good shame about the huge American rig that parked beside us took up the room of 3 normal units and ran a stinky noisy generator for hours the fumes were a real problem

Thank you CMCA and camp host Lida. lots of information and suggestions about things to do, very helpful and friendly. great town, wish we could have stayed longer, would like to have played golf on what appears to be a great course.

Great site, lovely town. Public laundromat at Penola Caravan Park, 2 South Terrace Penola. $5 per wash, 4 machines & 2 dryers.

The park was nice and level overlooking the grape vines. Lovely little town with so much history about Mary McKillop and early locals. Park custodians Adrian and Robyn were a delight and very helpful. Thank you CMCA

We stayed last night 23rd September. Nice facility will level sites,the park is next to the Recreation Grounds and bordered on 2 sides by fields of grape vines. The Park Custodians Sue and Ian were knowledgeable and helpful. Pleased that the CMCA is continuing to grow the number of RV Parks for our use. thanks Liz and Stewart.

Very cool last night but a great place to stay. A very green location and the vines are coming into leaf. Very friendly town, new housing sites are being developed. Great IGA food store.

Stayed for two nights in Sep. Nice level area and a good base to explore around the Penola and Coonawarra region. Helen the custodian was very welcoming and helpful.

This park has a lovely outlook and when the vineyard beside it is in full green growth, it will be stunning. Good signage at the front with full explanation of requirements. Level sites and access to water taps. Good place to spend the summer months. Highly recommend the Windara Bakery in the main street.
