This council owned camp ground is located on the banks of the Hunter River. Caretaker Peter will collect fees. You will find large level grassy powered and unpowered sites here.
Please note that this an alcohol free zone and dogs must be kept on leash at all times.
There is a suspension foot bridge that takes you over the local pub where the food is great. There is also a modern childrens playground located nearby as well for your little ones.
Here you will find toilets, hot showers, non-potable water, picnic tables and pets are allowed.
Maximum stay here is 6 weeks.

Close to Barrington Tops that makes a great day trip. Level sites with power available. Good fireplaces. Hot showers are good but a little dated. Tank water available but no potable water to connect to motorhome.

What a disgrace upper hunter shire Overpriced camp site and dirty/tired
amenities. What is that BBQ thing?? Hope you are using the money you collect to improve this space.
