Favourite

Famous for it's friendly hospitality and one of Victoria's best kept secrets. The retreat is nestled on the banks of the Wallagaraugh River. Offering secluded bush camping and riverfront cabins, it's well known for it's excellent fishing.  To access the retreat, you will need to turn off the Princes Highway (approx 6kms from Genoa - heading towards the NSW border) and follow the dirt track for 7kms. Don't worry, the turn off is signposted so you will find it easily.  The most popular activities at the retreat is swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, bushwalking, bird & wild life watching. They have a boat ramp here for your use. They also allow campfires here as well. Here they offer boat hire, canoe hire, bait, tackle, fishing licences, ice and gas refills. Wooden BBQ's are scattered around the park (BYO firewood). Toilets and showers are also available here. The retreat is generator powered and power is only available for four hours in the evenings.
