This free overnight rest area is large, sealed and in a drive through loop layout. As an added bonus, it's directly opposite the police station. Here you will find toilet with disabled access, non-potable water, picnic tables and fireplaces. It is a good rest area for the night.

Quiet spot opposite Police Station. 1st overnight stay in NT after crossing the Qld/NT border. Drop toilets. No mobile service but public pay phone opposite the rest area.
