Have just stopped here at Standown Park for 5 nights with our 5th wheeler. easy access, great sites with water and power. Minimal but well kept shower/ablutions facilities. Great camp kitchen and hosts prepare campfire and get together each evening. Easy stop off point for Tin Can bay, Fraser Island, Rainbow beach and Gympie. CMCA friendly.

Wonderful caravan Park. Wished I'd realised discounts for CMCA members..and deals for Vets.. This park has the lot.. clean amenities dump point happy hour.. Everyone is so friendly its easy to feel safe and secure.. Peaceful and quiet in a rather private area.. between Tin Can Bay and Gympie.. Great position to wander off daily to other attractions if you so choose.. Well done guys.. Beautiful spot..

Lovely spot if you are looking for a quiet country retreat. Facilities are OK but not luxurious. We found the hosts very nice and accommodating. Great spot to stay if you want to explore the surrounding area of Gympie Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach. TV reception was very iffy.

Lovely peaceful spot to base yourself and explore the surrounding areas. We stayed here for 7 nights in our 9 metre 5th wheeler. Rod even helped us back into our spacious site. TV reception is almost non existent with standard aerial but satellite tv works. Small amenities block is dated but very clean. Huge camp kitchen where they have a camp fire every afternoon (great place to meet fellow travellers). Usual price of site per night was $28.00 but with CMCA discount we paid $25.00. Would recommend to others and would stay here again.
