Kurrimine Beach Holiday Park

Caravan Park - Queensland

Welcome to the award winning Kurrimine Beach Holiday Park, we are a family owned and operated park so you are always guaranteed a warm welcome.  Our guests are travellers and holidaymakers who appreciate the village atmosphere that only a small holiday park can offer. Add to this quality service, cleanliness and excellent value for money you have all the makings of a great holiday – and that’s even before you read about all our great facilities! Kurrimine Beach is an unspoilt tropical holiday destination. The spirit and hospitality of old North Queensland is still alive in this picturesque fishing hamlet. The quiet, long, beach alongside King Reef is the main attraction and it’s here that you can see Manta Rays trawling the beach shallows and turtles coming in to nest. Pick up a fresh coconut from the palms that line the beach or for the more adventurous go in search of the famous King Reef Painted Cray. Our small town boasts a winery, a beachfront pub, a cafe, a post office, petrol station & general store. The next time you are in our part of the world, take your time, turn off the highway and drive down our road, you’ll be glad you did… We are a small, friendly caravan park with only 42 sites.   We highly recommend booking ahead during the busy winter months and on long weekends.  All of our sites are powered and have sullage and water, most have concrete slabs.   We can offer a selection of sunny or shady sites.

Agree with other comments, however, sites would be pretty tight for big rigs. Good Bar and selection of food available, pizza and take aways. Amenities old, but clean.

Stayed for 8 days on the way north. Owners are wonderful and committed to great service. The toilets and showers are spotless. The camp kitchen is pretty good. The location is excellent as it is quiet and peaceful. All slabs are in good condition and would only use ramps to level up a motorhome on a few sites. Short walk to the beach, 100 metres, or to a made path on the foreshore. After walking passed the other two caravan parks, I think this is the better of all three.
