Darlington Point Camping Ground

Great spot to sit and relax. The birds and wildlife aplenty and lovely to be able to enjoy ambience of a small campfire. Dump point and water available close by.

Stayed 2 nights, quiet place with a number of options off track for camping. Caught a yellowbelly, could see carp swimming in river. Access in dry weather good.

What a lovely place to be able to camp, right on the edge of the river. The road in is good, but dry weather only. Time limited to 48 hours, approval/permit from council if wishing to stay longer. There are four other vehicles spread out along the bank, plenty of space. Very grateful to the town for allowing us to camp here. This is just one of many locations here.

Basic camp up spot. Nice if you do not want to swim and just sit quietly in the Bush. Loaded with ants everywhere. Pesky little things. Few young hoons running around. Steep embankment so can not access water. I personally would not come back, lots more lovely spots around.
