Dampier Transit Caravan Park

The Dampier Caravan Park is located on The Esplanade overlooking Hampton Harbour and Sam’s Island and within sight of Rio Tinto’s Parker Point loading facility.  Open seasonally between April and October, the Caravan Park is perfect for families, overnight stays and travelers of all ages.  With great views we hope you will stop by and take the time out to absorb the surroundings and relaxed atmosphere.

Our small Park consists of 17 powered and 1 unpowered caravan sites and 7 camping sites, with a number of large trees and well maintained gardens making for comfortable stay.  Please note that our Park operates under a ‘Transit Park’ license, so the maximum stay time is three nights.

Besides the beautiful sunset views and friendly service, our Caravan Park offers a range of facilities including male/female ablutions, a universal access washroom, washing machines, camp kitchen, sheltered BBQ area and a chemical toilet disposal point.  We are also a pet friendly Park!

Managed by the Dampier Community Association (DCA) on behalf of the community, all profits from the park go back to supporting DCA’s operations.

This caravan park is very popular, so bookings are required.
