What great park, very peaceful and close to all the walks. A great park to put your feet up and veg.

Stayed there 22 and 23 Sept 2020. Been 30 yrs since last visited and the peace and quiet is still there. Great place to just slow down.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in November 2016. It is very convenient for the start of the Cania Gorge walks although at this time of year they were too hot and dry to enjoy! The park is very pleasant with flat green sites (many drive through) and clean (if older) facilities. They offered cooked Pizza on Friday nights and Fish & Chips on Sunday nights which was a novelty since you are 30km from the nearest shops in Monto. There is NO mobile phone coverage and the internet advertised was not working whilst we were there. Just a nice quiet spot for a break or for access to the dam 10km further up the road.
