Warreen farmstay offers rustic accommodation in a beautiful rural setting of 130 acres. The accommodation is in newly renovated shearers quarters, which consists of 7 bedrooms, 4 rooms with queen sized beds and three rooms with 3 single beds, all linen is provided. The bedrooms are located in a separate bedroom block. The School Room has been refurbished to provide a lovely queen sized room with open fire place, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a lounge to curl up in in front of the open fire. The shower and toilet block is situated beside the bedrooms. The lounge room and fully equipped kitchen is a separate building facing east to capture the magnificent views 3 metres from the bedrooms and toilet block. The kitchen is fully equipped catering for any of your requirements, there being settings for up to 20 people. Or else make use of the fire pit and cook a barbecue or just sit outside enjoying the stillness of the night and gaze at the beautiful stars. The accommodation is self-catering unless you would like breakfast and dinner to be provided which can be discussed when booking.

Our accommodation will suit families, individuals, couples or groups, base yourself at Warreen and discover a whole new meaning to relaxed country living, help hand feed the sheep and cattle or head off for incredible day trips exploring the area. There are also powered or non powered camping sites beside the dam and within easy distance of all the amenities. There are no disabled facilities as these are the original shearers quarters. No pets allowed.

Warreen farmstay is the perfect spot to come and stay to experience the tranquility of country life or discover a whole range of outdoor activities such as:

  •     Visit the Tuross Falls and Cascades
  •     Bushwalking
  •     Bird Watching
  •     Cycling
  •     4WD Driving in the nearby Wadbilliga or Badga National Parks
  •     Fishing in the dam or nearby creeks and rivers

If it is a relaxing farmstay you are after sit by one of the creeks and try and spot the elusive platypus or head off with your easel and capture the beautiful and ever changing landscape on canvas or through the shutter of your camera.

After a day spent exploring or just relaxing sit and watch the beautiful sunset and spend the evening stargazing or just curled up by the fire listening to the sounds of the farm animals and water birds on the nearby dam.

Warreen farmstay is located 32 Kilometres east of Cooma on the eastern side of the Great Dividing Range. We are only 1.5 hours from the coast, Canberra and the snowfields.
