Painters Island Caravan Park Wangaratta is situated on 20acres on the banks of the Ovens River, a quiet spacious park, in the heart of 'Ned Kelly Country' and the food and wine region. The Mountain to Murray bicycle trail starts at our front gate, close to golf courses, walking trails, historic areas and the snow fields. Also we are only a 2 minute walk to the CBD.


Our Park has over 200 sites (powered and unpowered) and we aim to cater for everyone, from singles to family reunions, to large groups and clubs.


Self contained accommodation includes standard cabin, ensuite cabin, 2 bedroom ensuite cabin and deluxe ensuite cabins.

Fantastic park with excellent amenities, footbridge to shops and restaurants 5 min walk. Rail trail with a variety of rides from park. Powered grassy sites with some shady ones.
