Green Lake Caravan Park

Caravan Park - Victoria

Green Lake is a small and very attractive lake in the middle of a wheat-belt area with sandy beaches, powered camping sites, showers and lots of picnic/barbecue areas, bush walks, gum trees and shade.

It is located 10km from Sea Lake along the road to Birchip and has powered sites and facilities for individuals or groups to meet or stay.   It offers a safe venue for camping in a bush setting, close enough to town for shopping or a meal.

Bushwalking can be enjoyed around the outskirts of the lake bed and in an adjacent reserve of mallee and pine-buloke woodland.

At the rear of the reserve is the RV-friendly Caravan Park, which contains both powered and unpowered sites.

Hot showers, laundry facilities and a camp kitchen are also available.

Users are asked to respect the Honesty Box system and leave the appropriate fees when they avail themselves of any of the facilities.

Monies collected go towards upgrading facilities and future water costs.

Good spot, some nice new facilities, powered sites. Plenty of shade .

Drove in 2nd Jan 2021 with maybe staying a night or two. Lots of family groups, kids wandering aimlessly and unleashed dogs. . Pwr Shaded spots on sand or semi grassed areas. Amenities looked good. We didn’t drive around the lake as having a full height van the overhanging trees looked a concern. Perfect if you are into water sports, fishing. We drove onto Sea lake recreation reserve caravan park. (10 km) in middle of town, pubs to grab a meal, and cafes. More to our liking.have done all the family things now enjoying retirement, at our own pace. We don’t feel it suitable for big rigs.
