Stringers is one of a number of small campgrounds situated along the Murray River within Lane Poole Reserve. It is a popular spot for swimming, canoeing, bushwalking, white-water rafting, mountain bike riding and fishing.
Stringers offers peaceful and private camping, with individual campsites tucked away on the banks of the river. Facilities include barbecues, tables, toilets, bins, and canoe launch.
This campsite and day use area is 18.5 km from Dwellingup and 11 km from entry station on Murray Valley Road via Bobs Crossing.
Stringer’s has six campsites that are ideal for families; it is not intended for group usage. There is no provision to park larger vehicles and they will need to find a site at either Nanga Mill or Baden Powell.
