Boddington - WA RVFT

RV Friendly Town - Western Australia

Boddington is a rustic town situated between rolling hills of forests and farms on the banks of the picturesque Hotham River. Located approximately an hour and a half from Perth via the Albany Highway, the easy drive to Boddington is an extremely scenic one.

Those visiting Boddington can find short-term parking at the RSL Memorial Park, (access from Bannister Rd). There are no fees to stay here and parking is limited to 48 hours. Vehicles must be fully self-contained.

Located within easy reach of the metropolitan area, the Boddington Shire boasts rural living at its best with essential services close at hand. A favourite picnic and fishing spot, close to town, is Lions Weir, and fishing is rumoured to be great in spring or autumn in the deep pools of the river. Boddington links conveniently with Dwellingup, Pinjarra and North Dandalup, combining old fashioned country charm with farming and mining prosperity. Around half of Boddington Shire is state forest – ideal for hiking, camping, picnics, bird watching and wildflowers in spring.

Beautiful town and very friendly locals. Always up for a chat. There is also a dog exercise area behind the camping area, along a beautiful walk beside the river. Well done Boddington
