Located in the Mannus State Forest, you will find this small grassy camping area and set approx. 50m off the road beside a creek. It is scenic and fishing is available and short walks. It has toilets, picnic tables, wood BBQ's and dogs are permitted. It is not suitable for BIG RIGS though. There is plenty of shade here from the tall trees.
This area is badly neglected. There is a small car parking area that would take one car and caravan. The area is supposed to be a camp spot on the Hume and Hovel Trail but the so called grassed area where the picnic table is, has been fenced off with barbed wire and is grossly overgrown with tall weeds.
The better option is the Mannus Dam site.
