The recreation reserve offers self contained RV's only a free spot to spend a maximum 72 hours. Pets on a lead are permitted. Rubbish disposal is available on-site.
Stayed 2 nights, a fantastic facility for the town which is obviously struggling. We highly recommend the Full Moon cafe in the Main Street, super clean, amazing food & of course great coffee, ’Apple’ is the most obliging owner so go visit!

Whilst I was prepared to contain my grey water the council member who came around to water trees saw no reason why grey water could not be used on trees When I mentioned sign re no open buckets he shrugged his shoulders . It said ranger would come around but in three days we never saw one The whole history of Norseman is riddled with water shortages so it seems a pity not to use it on the young trees planted on what was an old rugby ground

Ranger patrols area and will issue “ move on” notices if not self contained as per signage. Well grassed area suitable for big rigs.

nothing has changed from previous reviews. Water and dump point near old visitors centre. Hot showers at old visitors centre need tokens which are available from the shire admin now visitors centre is closed according to the piece of tape on the sign but no clues as to where the shire admin office is located. Cold showers free.

Great site for SC vehicles and just a short walk to IGA.
it should be noted that your vehicle must have a plumbed grey water tank. The entry sign states " Grey water drained into an external bucket or container (not fitted) does not comply"

An excellent site, thank you to Norseman. Fuel at the BP was cheaper than in town, and also found a laundromat at the BP also. Nice to have green grass, and in time the trees will grow and provide shade.

Hopefully Norseman will be able to improve its outlook when the mine begins again, which is imminent. We were surprised that groceries were not more expensive given the town’s location, but we only stayed one night and were appreciative of the camp.

Visitor Info or shire admin have notices up here that are out of date regarding Covid-19 regulations as at present. They have divided the RV park in two sections depending on whether you are from WA or SA etc. This related to quarantining and gives eastern states 24 hrs only. It pays to check with the info centre (new) opposite the shire office in the main street.
