This free overnight rest area is located at Boondi Lookout.  It is large and unsealed and has a picnic table.

One star as it is off the road. We were weary and pulled over for the night. It is full of rubbish, like a tip really. We are only 150m down the track in, perhaps it is better further along? Truck noise is noticeable but not awful.
