TYTO Information and Wetlands Centre - QLD RVFT

The access to this site is subject to weather conditions.  The site is typically accessible from 1st March and due to close approximately 30th November.

A new layout has been created to ensure that social distancing is achieved. Permits cost $10 per vehicle per night and include a mandatory COVID-19 declaration. A permit must always be obtained from the Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre prior to setting up and must always be displayed and clearly visible in the vehicle.

Please note that entry to the area without a permit is prohibited, and parking is strictly 48 hours maximum.

The opening hours of the Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre are:

• Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.

• Saturday and Sunday 9.00am to 4.00pm; and

• Public Holidays 9.00am to 4.00pm.

This facility does not issue permits after hours. For more information about the TYTO Self-contained RV Park and wetlands, please contact the Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre on 4776 4792.

Permits to be obtained from Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre prior to set up. The Centre is located on the Corner of Cooper Street and Bruce Highway

Self Contained only. Grey water may be captured in a suitable container and disposed of in dump point provided. No grey water is to be disposed of on ground
