This lake is simply beautiful. Now in the Isaac Shire. New unisex toilets x 4 and cold showers x 4 as well as disability and mothers toilet and shower and change table. Skip bins emptied twice a week, toilets cleaned twice a week. Plenty of shade although be careful of dropping limbs, kayaking on lake is sensational especially early morning with bird life and water lilies and scenery gorgeous. Water is available at nearby Glenden 24 km away, a specially designated RV filling tap at shopping centre car park. Big rigs though may not be able to manoeuvre so another tap is at the 'big bucket' at entry to town. Dump point in Glenden also, excellent access with water although signed Not Potable. Shops at Glenden include IGA, hairdresser, chemist, newsagent, PO, bakery, cafe, Doc & Dentist, library. There's a fuel station and hardware and Town Club too which has huge cheap and yummy meals. Takeaway also. ** PLEASE NOTE: Isaac Regional Council has placed a 2 week limit on this Camp

In the 3 years we've been free camping, this one is the best. ** PLEASE NOTE: Isaac Regional Council has placed a 2 week limit on this Camp as of March 2016 . Clean new toilets and showers, disabled toilets and showers cubicles. Skip Bins. Boating fishing swimming kayaking. Beautiful camp spots. BBQ and tables (this area packs up with day trippers from nearby towns) so is best left for them. Dump Point and water in Glenden 24 KM away. There is a RV water filling tap in car park of Shopping Centre, where there is IGA, PO, Hair dresser, baker, chemist, newsagent, library, cafe - all set in a lovely court yard with seating and water feature.

This is a beautiful lake side camping spot. There are literally acres of camping both at the waters edge and further up the slope with views across the lake. It is easy to find a level spot to park and although there must be 50/60 here we are not crowded. Although we only overnighted we will definitely come back for an extended stay,it is so peaceful and quiet. Lots of bird life

A lovely spot to camp, even though a moderate blue green algae rating prevented most water activities.

Pretty spot right on the side of the road and beside the lake. There is little road noise even tho' it is next door. There are plenty of level sites either in amongst the crowd or some way away. Facilities are new and simple - showers and toilets. Lots of water activities but not much in the way of walks. Spent a very pleasant few days here.
