Camp Howqua is an educational, recreational and camping facility, that is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Our mission is to provide a caring, creative and exciting Christian centre, which assists children, youth and adults to reach their human, creative and spiritual potential.
Camp Howqua covers in excess of 64 hectares of picturesque countryside situated on the beautiful Howqua River.
It is located in the Victorian High Country, only 45 minutes drive from the top of Mt Buller and an easy 2.5 hour drive from central Melbourne, via Mansfield.
It is the perfect venue to hold your next School Adventure Camp, Church/Youth Camp or Social Retreat.
Our range of facilities caters for groups of 2 – 200. Camp Howqua has four levels of highly affordable accommodation:
• Main Lodge • Ski Lodge • Self Contained Cabin • Camping Area
Self Contained Cabins: Howqua’s self-contained accommodation is perfect for people who like to do their own thing, with ample space for a family of 8. These units provide all the necessary facilities for an independent holiday. Each unit has a double bed, plus 6 bunk style beds, lounge room and kitchenette.
Camping Area: No minimum/maximum. 16 powered sites & plenty of non-powered sites – set on the flats of the beautiful Howqua River. Picnic facilities available. Amenities includes: showers/toilets/laundry & a wheelchair accessible family friendly bathroom.
