Turn off the Goldfields Highway at GPS -29.942468, 121.125703 and follow the road for approx 55kms until you reach the homestead.

Explore the former pastoral station shearing sheds and yards, or follow the marked 3km bush walk trail.

Homestead and Cottage
The former Goongarrie Station homestead and shearers` cottage have a basic kitchen, hot water showers, toilets and electrical wiring to which a visitor`s own generator can be connected. The homestead has 12 beds, the cottage 10.


Camping
The homestead also has an `open` camping area with space for up to 10 regular size caravans or camper trailers, large campervans or tents.


The building facilities are not available to campers. Camp fees are at the lower $7.50 per adult per night rate.


There are wood barbeques and picnic tables.


Campfires
Campfires are usually permitted between April 1 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood.


Bookings
Contact us to enquire about staying in the homestead or cottage or camping. Bookings, which cannot be made online, are essential.
