This is a nice free overnight rest area that is set off the highway. It has a number of areas here that you can camp overnight. There is a mixture of grass, gravel or chip bark to choose from. There is plenty of shade from the lovely green trees and bushes. There is a good walking track to the lovely Mummuga Lake to stretch your legs after driving. Here you will find toilets, water, picnic tables, wood BBQ's and your dogs are allowed here. New toilets were installed April 2016.
Maximum stay is 24 hours.

Great Spot, even though there is great shade from the trees, solar panels got great sun. There are 2 water taps, but not the best to fill tank, use containers.

Fantastic camp with good marked out sites. Traffic noise died down in the evening.

Lovely spot to stay overnight. Didn’t use the toilets as we have a fully contained Tiffin. Went on the Bush walk. Quite enjoyable and an easy track. Some noise from the road but very pleasant atmosphere between the trees.

Arrived late in the evening, someone had left a fire in a fireplace, so gathered some dry wood and got it going. Nice spot, not many people. Did not use toilets so can't comment on them. Can hear a bit of highway noise but it did not worry us.

Very good bush stop. Clean enviro drop toilets, in a pleasant setting. A little highway noise, but OK. Nestled among tall trees. Should be more roadside stops like this. Well done and maintained. Take care that you don't take the wrong turn from the north and end up at the tip.

Only a few spots suitable for longer rig combinations. A little highway noise. Did not check facilities as fully sell contained. Location as described.
