A wonderful spot for an overnight stop next to a beautiful park with a bit of reading about the history of the town. Town is just a short walk and there is a very interesting knick knack shop to browse. The sports club is next to the camp and a short stroll up the street is the RSL and local pub. We would definitely stay again. The town is also known for a very scary incident back in 2001....... google it to find out!!! ??

Second time staying her and it was great again. Bins, clean public toilet, pub and plenty of room, all within a small area. The meals at the Commercial Hotel are amazing and a challenge to finish. The staff and locals are hospitable and a pleasure to spend a few hours chatting. Lovely trees, grassy area next door for a relax in the shade or a bit of ball play. A fabulous free camp. Thank you Aberdeen.

An excellent overnight stay tucked in behind the golf club well away from the main road and railway line, if the train blows the horn you hear it but the other features including the great Chinese meal at the Club far outweighs that.

Lovely spot walking distance across the golf course to the really nice and friendly bowls club and Chinese Thai restaurant. they even had a golden and a chocolate lab to play with my girl. Thank you. great TV reception too
