The homestead is an outback oasis with a full service centre.  It is a roadhouse, bar & grill, motel, cabins, powered and unpowered caravan park all rolled into one.  The motel rooms have been recently renovated and the meals are really delicious.  

The roadhouse is open from 6:30am to 12:00 midnight every day of the year.  It offers all fuels including avgas!  It refills gas bottles ad supplys oils, lubricants and coolants.  There is a mechanical workshop here as well.  It also sells groceries, snacks and cold drinks and ice creams.  

Accommodation ranges from motel rooms, cabins, caravan and camping sites.  The powered caravan sites have 50 drive-through sites and shade is available.  Camping sites are unpowered and is grassy which are close to the the toilets and showers and the camp kitchen.  Enjoy a dip in the swimming pool here.

Enjoy the night off from cooking at The Barkly Bar & Grill.  There steaks are out of this world!  It opens at 6:30am for breakfast and stays open for lunch and of course dinner.

Excellent isolated tourist park. Large drive through sites. An advantage to arrive early as more shade available and artificial turf awning area…otherwise red dust, but still OK. Nice swimming pool. Some Amenities a little old but acceptable…no shelf! Great roadhouse. Good food we are told, licensed, and we can vouch for excellent coffee…a rarity in these outback roadhouses when sometimes there is none! Highly recommend.

What a great place in the middle of nowhere, had a slight mechanical problem and the manager tried to order parts for me but was unable to get what l needed. He sent me out the back to there own wrecking yard, where unbelievable l found the exact part l needed, back on the road within 2 hours. What a great place to stay management and staff are fantastic.

stayed here twice on our visit to the NT, staff were friendly and as it was quiet we had our pick of sites. easy to access with drive through shaded sites close to the amenities. Unfortunately the pool was more on the green side with wildlife on both visitors a month apart, but with all the road closures it was probably hard to get new parts for the filter system. Good food and handy stop.

Surprising place, got last powered site arriving at 4pm, $38 2 people, got in half of the happy hour, came back for dinner, good prices, nice meals. Very nice location in the middle of nowhere, well run, diesal $1.89.9, parked next to the pub didn't hear any noise. amenities ok, ladies toilet at pub needs a cleanup.

The food is amazing. Not your usual Roadhouse greesy spoon. Easily the best place for real food like a salad and options WITHOUT chips!

Grass!!!! even on the unpowered sites this late in the season. Not grass that a kiwi would recognise as grass but amazing for the middle of nowhere in outback Australia. Shame no shade over the pool but still a great place and fantastic value.

Well managed, well maintained, clean, flat sites some shady, stylish modern Australian, happy hour 4 to 5pm of $5 wine and beer. Good service and food. Nice swimming pool. Nice aviary. This place is unexpectedly good and worth $38.

Top spot. Very surprised as this was in the middle of nowhere and even more surprised there are no comments of value. Stayed last night on an unpowered site for $12 a head but still had full shower and toilet facilities. Powered sites are awesome with grassed areas and closer to roadhouse which has food, beer and entertainment. What more can you ask for? Nice quiet shaded areas pick your own unpowered spot, covered picnic tables and even tap water. Highly recommended.
