Set on five acres, Flaggy Rock Community and Recreation Centre offers a quiet setting for conferences and workshops. There is an electric BBQ available located close to the children's playground and the swimming pool.

The flat to undulating ground is perfect for overnight accommodation for semi self contained vehicles only, as there is no power available, and provides excellent access for large rigs. A fee of $15 (cash) per vehicle per night applies with a maximum stay of 72 hours.

The pool is open to the public from the start of the Queensland school holidays in September til the end of the March/April holiday period. Outside of these hours pool opening is at the discretion of the caretaker.

Top place. Caretakers very pleasant and helpful. Lovely large grassy site that enabled us to get well away from other campers.

This is a great overnight stopping place, away from the highway and traffic. Well maintained grounds and amenities. This is a small rural community and the former school building has been converted into a Community Centre and the school grounds to cater for self contained Motorhomes and Caravans. A pleasant walk is to cross the train line and walk through the cane fields.

Flaggy Rock is a fantastic community camping area. The grounds are extremely well maintained, and the facilities (although small) are clean. Overall this is an excellent place to stop on your way through.

What a beautiful stop over, well mown couch lawns, shady trees and a country outlook. The site is situated about 1km off the highway so is peaceful and quiet. Definitely a site we will return to.

Great spot. Caretakers do a great job and very friendly. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy the peaceful location.

What a gem of a stop-over Lovely well maintained large grassed grounds Community pool. Fire buckets & wood with a nominal fee. Now $10 (7/2016) and well worth every cent, coupled with very obliging caretakers

Flaggy Rock, what a fantastic spot to stay. One Klm in from Hwy. Toilets, showers & swimming pool. Nice green grass & some shady trees. Also has BBQ area. Has railway track next to it we only heard one train. Suitable for all size rigs. Care taker helpful & friendly. Would recommend staying well worth money.
