Wallam Creek in Bollon, Queensland, provides a relaxing camping ground in a bushland setting, 624 kilometres south-west of Brisbane. The township of Bollon can be reached via a 1.2 kilometre creekside walking track from the campsite. Bollon is a quaint country town with a cafe, pub, basic groceries and service station.

The Red River Gums on the banks of the creek are home to a large population of koalas, and over 110 species of birds have been recorded in the area. The nearby Thrushton National Park has a diverse range of plants and animals, and a spectacular display of wildflowers in the Spring. Bush walking tracks are unmarked, so be sure to bring a compass.
