Burgess Park Campground

Private Campground - Queensland

Darlington and Burgess Park camping grounds are council owned properties, privately managed by your friendly hosts Joe and Kate Murray.

The campsites offer visitors an environment to enjoy the outdoors and locality. Just an easy hours drive from both the Gold Coast and Brisbane, this escape is ideal year round.

Darlington and Burgess Park are the perfect locations to unwind, put your feet up and relax.

For the more adventurous, the grounds provide a starting point for exploration of the surrounding areas and all it has to offer.

Both parks offer open space and shade set upon lush kikuyu grass to establish your home for the duration of your stay.

All campers can be accommodated,  from  2 man tents to RVs, caravans and big rigs.

When camping overlooking the river or nestled among the trees, the natural surrounds can be appreciated from beside your campfire, drink in hand.

A very nice spot to camp, with toilets, picnic tables, fire pits and a river.

This is also a day rest area from 8am to 6pm at no cost. If you camp overnight there is a low cost involved. Money collected by caretaker or leave in an envelope at registration info kiosk next to toilets. There is one wood fired BBQ and several sheltered picnic tables. There are several fire pits and a toilet block. No showers and no potable water and no bins. Beautiful creek setting, still flowing in the drought. Carp in the creek. Lots of bird life about. Dogs allowed as per CMCA rules.
