This free camping area is located on the banks of the Turon River. It is small so it's not really suitable for big rigs. You will need to be self sufficient here. Campfires and dogs are allowed here. It is a great place for walking, swimming, fishing or even trying your hand at gold panning in the river.

While this and other sites in the area are very picturesque they are also extremely popular on long weekends. Very difficult to find a safe space among the crowds. Would love to visit again at a quieter time.
