The Gap View Hotel is Alice Springs Premier Entertainment Venue.  Built in the early eighties, the hotel has seen many different faces including a medieval & Priscilla Queen Of The Desert theme!  Those days are thankfully behind us & due to recent renovations the hotel is one of the most modern & innovative pubs in Alice Springs.

Prices have gone up again! Now $25 unpowered and $35 powered. Great showers and toilets, under cover bbqs and seating at nearly every powered site but the grounds themselves are lacking attention - dusty, unkempt. It’s the closest place to town to stay and does a good meal. Police patrolled at night and I felt quite safe there.

Not a bad park for the cost, plenty of trees, some annex pads, bit noisy from passing traffic but didn’t stop us sleeping, amenities are dated but clean.

As some of you may recall the Gap View Hotel Campground in Alice Springs recently renovated their amenities block. We've also had a few other updates to our BBQs, security, lighting etc to name a few. As a result of this we have put our prices up but only by $5 as we really want to remain as the most affordable place in Alice Springs. So unpowered sites are now $20 per site and powered sites are now $30 per site.
