A large, park-like campground on the edge of the small town of Urbenville.
There is plenty of room for large vans here, as well as lots of nice shady, grassy sites for tent based camping. It would make a nice spot for a quick overnighter on the way to one of the national parks of the area.
No motorbike riding is allowed.
There are three distinct areas, all unpowered, at this facility with varying grades of camping/facilities. The main area has hot showers, septic, barbecue areas, outside kitchen area, bonfire area at each camp site, wheelie bins and recycle bins. The next area has pit toilet, cold showers (with a wood fired copper for heating water). The third is a nicely grassed area with no amenities, but has access to bins and bonfire areas which is great for motorhomes or those who are self contained.
To get there drive to Urbenville, Northern NSW, head towards Tooloom, after 14km turn left into Paddy’s flat Rd, ( on some maps this may be called Upper Tooloom Rd), after 7km turn right onto Kangaroo Creek Rd, after 2km turn right into Brooklyn Camping Ground.
