Red Earth Estate Winery

Private Campground - New South Wales

The Red Earth cellar door is located at 18 Camp Road, Dubbo.

Here you can taste our premium wines, which are made on-site in our winery with fruit hand picked from our own vineyard and selected parcels of fruit from the central ranges. Our winemaker, Ken Borchardt, is happy to help you discover our wines and discuss our winemaking process.

At Red Earth Estate we offer a platter tasting featuring delicious cheeses, fresh fruit and regional produce - the perfect complement to our wine! The platter tasting can be enjoyed in our tasting room or in the garden amongst our graciously hanging vines. Our spacious and well kept grounds are a great place for families, and give mums and dads the opportunity to indulge in some 'parent time' after exploring what the region has to offer. Whatever your choice, sit back, relax and enjoy the region's best wine and produce in a warm relaxed atmosphere! Morning and afternoon tea also available.

Where to find us:

Drive past the entrance to the Zoo on Obley Road and turn right into Camp Road. Our opening hours are every day except Wednesdays from 11.00am to 5.00pm. Camping is available at the vineyard for caravaners and motorhomers who are looking for a quite peaceful place to camp overnight. You must be self contained with own shower and toilet.  As at Feb 2020, there is a charge of $15.00 for a non-powered site and $25.00 for a powered site.  Water is available for topping up tanks.   We look forward to seeing you soon!<

We stayed here for three nights, on arrival we where made very welcome and stayed on a non powered site overlooking the vineyard, very pleasant outlook the cheese platter was superb. There are only four powered and six unpowered sites available i would suggest that you book ahead. Big Rig Serenity.

Very hospitable hosts and they make very good wine. Had we known we would have stayed longer but had booked elsewhere. Very wet while we were there and that limits how many campsites are available.

Except for the camping area the rest of the site is closed down. No Meals, No Wine. Caretaker was helpful in showing us to a site behind the shed where power and water was available. You are able to use an inside toilet during the day but the site is all locked up at night. Very quiet with a nice outlook to the East over the vineyard. Big plus is it is only a 5 minute drive to the Zoo gates. For us the convenience was worth the extra cost for minimal services.
